My car blew a rocker arm so i replaced it and took off the front cover to see if there was anything else wrong and to set the timing. The crank gear is missing 3 teeth and now i need a new one. Does anyone know the part number or maybe where to get one. I searched and dint find much on it

It's the same as the gear off a sentra SE-R. Call up your local nissan dealer and order one. I believe the system has it labeled as crank sprocket.

If that gear is missing teeth, I'd be pulling the whole chain off for an inspection to make sure it wasn't damaged as well. Also, did the teeth come out in the oil? Make sure they didn't get stuck up in the oil pickup or damage its filter screen.

Lastly, I'd consider doing a compression test once you have everything back together to make sure you didn't bend anything. Something that caused the gear to shed teeth can surely bend a valve easily.

yeah i have the front cover off and the timing chain is coming off so i can inspect it. I still have to sift through the oil pan but it is off of the car.

Since you have the cover off and the pump is accessable, pull the pump cover off and inspect the pump gears for damage as well. The screen usually keeps that stuff out, but if the pickup screen is damaged, it's likely the teeth might have found their way into the pump.

What caused you to pop a rocker? Misshift? Revving to high? Just decided to go?
