I've got a problem I couldn't find searching so, while i'm trying to get my s14sr to fire over, I'm checking to see if i got a signal to all of my wires to find out why I have no spark, and I accidentally rested my arm on the coilpack, and it was real hot. Is it supposed to be this hot? Is this why I am not firing over? Any ideas?

Coil packs attach to the plugs correct? Which means they are probably transferring heat from the plugs, which can reach temperatures over 700deg. So I'd probably guess that yes, it can be normal for them to get hot.

Yeah your right, but it's really hot right where the coilpack harness connects to the coilpack itself, and it just seems unusually hot, like plastic-melting hot.

They should not get that hot. Inspect the harness for shorts.

if it isn't grounded well, the wires will overheat
