SR coil pack replacement

One of my coil packs went out, so I need a new one, and fast

The '90-'95 300ZX and '95 newer Maxima coil packs look way different than the sr's. To the point where I dont know how you could bolt them down and get one to stay in.

Whats teh deal with these things? Can you take them apart and swap out the guts of the Z's coil?

they're sealed and non-servicable IIRC.

You can pick them up used for a fairly decent price on occassion. Try SR20store.com, and I believe heavy throttle sells them individually used (I payed $50 a LONG time ago for an extra one to fab up a timing light rig because my inductive loop in the harness wasn't picking up)

EDIT: Unrelated but still on the topic of coil packs. Ive found 2 different part Nos. 22448-50F00 and 22448-50F01, both were stated for the S13 redtop, and then another source stated coil packs were unchanged from s13-s14, blacktop and redtop, both supposedly used 50F01

The coilpacks I have on my motor are the 50F00 variety
