someone tried explaining it but didn't make too much sense. Is the Jdm cluster compatible with the us harness converted to run an SR???? any extra parts needed or parts to swap??? or does it plug right in the existing harness for my usdm cluster? thanks guys

I think you will need the gauge cluster harness off a 91 or newer,Twin cam,or the jdm harness.

It plugs right in to your '90 harness. You can either use the entire cluster or only the tachometer.
