THE KA AND SR ARE DIFFERENT... THE KA24 HEAD AND BLOCK ARE NOTHING ALIKE. IF U WANNA FIX UP YOUR DOHC OR SOHC (LIKE ME) THEN I STRONGLY RECOMMEND GOING THROUGH JIM WOLF TECHNOLOGIES. THEY SPECIALIZE ON NISSANS AND WON'T TURN DOWN OR CRITISIZE YOUR CHOICE IN ENGINE. I'VE WORKED ON BOTH KA'S & SR'S AND THEY'RE BOTH FUN...ESPECIALLY THE SOHC KA . ITS THE UNDERDOG BUT I'VE SPANKED SOME PRETTY FAST CARS. IT'S EASIER TO FIND SR PARTS THESE DAYS AND CHEAPER TO BUY SR UPGRADES-MINUS HAVING TO BUY THE ENGINE AND DOING THE SWAMP .

OH YEAH, AND THE SR20 IS ABOUT 250LBS LIGHTER THEN THE KA BUT THE CAST IRON KA CAN TAKE HARDER PUNISHMENT. U HAVE TO CONSIDER YOUR OPTIONS OF HOW MUCH YOU WANNA SPEND AND WHETHER U WANNA DO THE DRIFT OR DRAG THING. ALL U NEED FOR DRIFT IS AN LSD, LIGHTER DRIVESHAFT, AND THE BASICS (INTAKE, FULL EXHAUST, ETC.). AND MAYBE JUICE IF U KNOW HOW 2 USE IT...

the sr is not 250lbs less then the ka. more like 60lbs to 80lbs less and that both fully dressed. Also to answer the op, no they will not and check brian crower too for cams. they are priced pretty well. http://www.briancrower.com/mak...shtml check them out.

Why do some people have to be a**h**** when answering a guys question. All caps was stupid

Actually, the SR is less than 10lbs lighter than the KA, if it has the turbo and the KA doesn't. You add about 40 lbs with the turbo setup (maybe a little more), but you have significantly more TQ, and easily more HP potential.
