So I have had an issue where my car is leaning out and bogging down. When i am under 3k the car drives very jerky. My AFR reads ~14.5 then it will bounce to ~16.2. It does this constantly as long as I am under 3k. If I put the pedal down it will bog till 3k then stop once I start boosting. It also has a problem of dropping rpms when i get to a stoplight/stop sign (BOV is recirced). It drops to about 500 and then seems like it wants to stall but will usually go back up on its own. I'm not sure if these two problems are related or not but they both started happening at the same time.

I did check all vacuum lines and then I checked my brake booster. I found out that the seal was shot so I replaced that along with my brake master. It seemed to correct this problem until this afternoon when it started doing it again. Its not as bad but its still noticeable. I just don't like the idea of driving it while it is doing this. At the moment I don't have a choice with school and work.

I have plenty of tools at my disposal via the school's shop so any tests that you can think of let me know. Actually any ideas at all would be great. I had messed with the timing to see if I could correct the idle issue. I went back and re checked it. Everything seems fine there.

Please help if you can. I'm always close to a computer and next to the shop so any feedback would be great.

Adam

Just put about 10psi of smoke through the system and there are no leaks anywhere.

where is your maf installed? Is it on the cold pipe (blow thru set up) or on the turbo? It should be about 18 inches from the turbo, maybe turbulance is causing problems with your maf readings under boost

Well I cleaned the maf and then put it on our inoperative dyno to put a little load on it. At idle the maf read 1.55 v at 1500 it read 1.79v 2000 1.93v and 2500 2.12v. Which seems to be within the 1-3v range. Also noted that my AFR was still fluxtuating.

The maf is connected using the stock sr rubber intake.

Yea I may try that again. Were cleaning the fuel injectors now. So well see if I get anything from that. I also discovered an exposed O2 sensor wire so I'll be taping that up as well.
