Hello i am new here but i have been looking on here for a long while now and i am putting a 98 sr20det black top in my 96 240sx se and i am sending the two main harnesses no wiring specialties but i wanna do the lower harness because there are just three plugs that need to be cut and i just wanna know if the KA and SR speedo plugs are the same.

Thanks alot to anyone that helps.

I havn't seen an S14 SR speedo cable, but I have done mine for the S13 SR, and the plugs were different from KA -> SR. But why not just check on your own and see the difference?

On S13s, I use the KA lower harness. The only thing we have to change usually is one plug for the starter. The rest plugs in to the SR stuff just fine. Doing this also allows us to use US transmission gear sensor plugs since the JDM and USDM plugs are different.

For S14s, I'm not sure if the same holds true. I imagine it does, though.
