wasup guys here is my problem. first its a S13 sr with a bunch of mods . cars runs good for who knows then car runs like is running on 3 pistons or some like that. wont hold idle and wideband indicate totally lean . i check the TPS (recalibrate it with the AEM EMS) change the coolant temp sensor . im been thinking on checking the coils?this can happens for 10 20 30 mins then the car goes back to normal . sounds like a injector stop working or some like that. what it piss me off is that it doesnt do it stedy that way i can fix it a lot more easy .lately its being doing very often like is finally getting close to totally **** up any idea would be very appreciate it ,thanks

I had similar problems with my sr, and I did a bunch of stuff to it and it finally quit doing it. Check your maf, and especially the maf wiring. If the sensor wire isn't getting a good connection it could cause the problems you are describing. Also make you a boost leak tester if you don't have one, and check for boost and vac leaks with shop air. Boost / Vac leaks can cause some weird problems, and I would say account for over 50% of problems with any turbo car. Recheck your timing, and make sure your coil pack wires are not to close to the back of the head and getting to hot, that will cause it to misfire when it gets hot, but not when its cold. Hope this helps.

THanks for replying Im not running a MAF . its a fully built SR running it with AEM EMS with a 5 bar map and air temp sensortoday car was running bad so i went to my bud shop and started changing the coils one by one . i changed the number one first . started car and car runs fine after changing one coil only. number 1 , so i put everything back together and tested the car , no problem , i think i got it , but im not going to count victory yet,. still want to run the car more . to make sure
