You'll need the brackets from Cody and custom lines.

isnt not having to convert your lines the main point of CodyAce's brackets? it allows you to keep your stock dohc compressor. so i dont think you need to convert any lines man.

anyways, what kind of compressor are you using? the stock sr one or one from the dohc?

Compare the stock KA compressor to the sr -- the sr is smaller and a hella of lot lighter. Mainly due to the fact the KA was and is a truck engine. Not to mention the funky looking piping that you have to deal with on the ka lines. The cheapest way to do it if you can vac and recharge your system would be to get lines made for 75 bucks and call it a day. Or if you want to use Cody's plates then have at it. After all the research, I found the sr compressor is smaller, lighter, faster and cools better than the KA compressor that I had and you do not have to deal with the huge pipe thing sitting on the top of the KA compressor..

hey shift

when you got your lines redone. did they weld a new tip on the lines so it would fit into the sr compressor? or did you use your stock sr ac lines?

i just stripped a sohc, ac lines, dryer, condesor, etc. i have everything besides the compressor. for my SOHC ac lines, would the aluminum welder know to cut off the ends and weld new fitting for the sr compressor or do i need to get those myself?? cause i can come upon a sr compressor but idk if i can get the fittings or will that be the welders job?

do you get what im saying?

you will have to have the sr connectors and have them welded onto the ka lines that you have. If you do not have the SR connectors then you are probably screwed and should go with Cody's way.
