sr 370 injectors... help

i know both are high impotence so resistors wont be necissary, but what will i have to do to make them work in a ka24E, new rings? or do they slip right in?

replace o-rings then slip them right in

To add to this...

It's high impedence...impotence is when you can't get your "rod" up.

Also, as stated above, replace the o-rings, but make sure you lubricate them so they don't tear when going in. I always use a glob of wheel bearing grease and have no problems. Any grease that gets into the cylinder burns out immediately, so no ill-effects.

or u can also use petroleum jelly (aka vaseline) if u dont have the wheel grease handy.

That won't help on impotent injectors.

yeah, there goes my florida education again...

i know i heard somewhere that the sr injectors could be used on the SOHC, but then i tried finding that post again and all the stuff on KA-T.org's stickies only list DSM injectors to use.i figured this was due to sr injectors being side mount and the KA24E being top mount, but didnt really see why it wouldnt work. so that settles that then. also thanks for the grammar lesson

I am the illiterate idiot. I didn't read that you have a SOHC.

NO, the SR injectors won't work. They are sidefeed and you must use topfeed in your setup. Terribly sorry about that, man.

yea i almost bought SR injectors my self lol, but i bought the ca18det's. just gotta pickup a dsm resistor box and im set.
