Well I took my tranni out of my sr clip today to find a 3 puck clutch in it. Everything looks really good on it and all wear is even througout the pressure plate and the fly wheel but am not sure if the 3 puck serfice is worn down to much. My question is what is the Normal starting pad thickness and how much can it go down before i need to replace it? right now it is at .379in thinck. Is this too far gone to reuse it or can i still get a little longer usage on it? Or if there is a way to know if it is down to much, what is it. If I can re-use it that would be awsome, plus would save me a little money. Any advice would be great.

Thanks

If it is a sprung 3-puck use it till it dies. I miss the strong engagement of the 3 puck but I don't miss the clutch chatter. It sounds like the disk has got some life.

If you can afford to replace it now do it while the engine is out of the car...if not then it should last for a while

Yeah is had a really strong engagement when i was pushing on the clutch while it was in the clip. (Yes i did pretend that I was driving a right hand drive car with a chair sitting behind it :ylsuper ) I dont really care about the chatter though...
