This has likely been covered before, but here's my question:

I noticed that the flange on my SR downpipe is not oriented correctly to line up with my CA dump pipe (O2 housing). I believe I have an SR T25 turbo....... do I need to cut and weld the downpipe, or can I get an SR dump pipe to make it line up?

I have seen some fairly cheap SR 3" dump pipes on Ebay.

Let me know, if you know

Thanks

Ian

it's my understanding that the SR frontpipe will work with a SR o2 pipe, or you can cut your SR frontpipe, spin the flange, and reweld.

what I don't know is if a SR o2 pipe will bolt onto the CA T25. But if you have the whole SR T25, it will bolt up to the CA manifold, then you can use the SR o2 pipe and front pipe

I'm not positive about what turbo I have...... I have been told it is both an S13 T25, or an S14

Can you tell by the pic?

It is cast with: Garrett - M24 - A/R 80

Thanks again

well, S13 SR had a T25, the S14 had a T28, and the S15 had a T28BB

should be stamped on it, if it says T28, I'd say it's a S14, if it says T25, it's a S13 SR,

Thanks guys,

I couldn't find T25 or T28 anywhere on it, only M-24. Although I find some contradictory information on the net, it seems that the only turbo with a compressor A/R of 0.80 is the S13 SR.

Looks like that's what I've got........ in that case, I'd say that my best option would be to get a 3" O2 housing from SSAutochrome (like $15 + shipping on Ebay), Install that on my turbo, and leave the downpipe as is.

Does anyone see a problem with doing this?
