ok i have a 1993 240sx that i bought last year a just graduated on the 4th and i want to do a redtop swap in my 240. what do i need and what do i have to do? theres a performance shop not too far away from my house and they said they'd do the wiring part for me but what all do i have to do just to get everything in right?

Make sure the performance shop knows what they're doing before you have them do the wiring for you. i've been told that there are a few ways to do the wiring to get your car to run, but there is only one correct way to do it. this becomes important if you plan on using a powerfc or some other standalone for your car later on. if the wiring is wrong, it can fry your powerfc and that'll be a waste of 1K. although i haven't bought a powerfc and end up frying it, i know that my car has been wired the wrong way. i wonder if anyone knows if the wrong wiring will affect a rom tune...

Please do a search. This is by far one of the most talked about topics on these boards. The S13 swap is about as simple as swapping in another KA of the same year into your car.
