Just replaced the stock elec. carburetor with a Weber 38, drove it, now the clutch makes a sqwealing noise...all the time. In neutral, and in gear...I know I need to R&R the slave cyl but not sure why, or where this noise is coming from.......any ideas anyone???????????????

So, it didn't make this noise prior to the install? Because the carb and clutch have nothing to do with one another as far as that is concerned obviously... so it leads me to believe it is either not the clutch, or a completely unrelated problem. Can you describe the sound more?

So, I troubleshot the clutch issue, thinking it was the clutch master cyl (R&R), then cleaned the clutch damper, and R&R'd the slave cyl too, bled the system. The fork stays pushed against the clutch spring. Not sure what to look at next.

The pressure plate may have failed.

Ran a vaccum line for the carb to the crankcase breather inlet on the valve cover, i felt like an idiot. will post pics soon as the sun comes out.
