So i am kind of itching to TRY and slid my car...no idea how to do it, all the people I know who drift say "just kick the clutch and counter steer, it isn't as hard as auto cross!"

Since I love autocross I doubt drifting is as easy as AC is

I have never done more then the "OH s*** I'M SPINNING OUT" counter steers on wet roads, scares the s*** out of me, even when I want to do it...

so...what would you tell a noob like me about drifting to start with?? simple power over? or the full on clutch kick? I want to stay away from E-brake because I don't like the mechanical aspect of it...puts a ton of stress on the drivetrain components, at least in theory it does
