On gears 1-3, when it reaches about 3k rpms, it starts to make a high pitch squeling sound.

Does anyone know what is causing this sound?

I've read some threads saying the fan clutch could be the issue.

How would I know to replace the fan clutch? I don't want to spend money if its not needed. Also the bolt to tighted the belt for the fan, power steering because it was loose, so could it be too lose or tight?

Also there is a rattling noise while idling or driving but i think that is a heat shield that is missing a bolt. would thise cause the squeling noise?

thanks for any tips :) :help

loose belts cause squeals. tight belts cause bearings to squeal.
