Tighten em first though see if that solves your problem. If not belts are cheap, replace em if they need it. if not out of annoyance, then fear that it could be your alternator belt squealing and that your car might just die out on you.

My belts were doing that recently and I couldn't tell which belt it was so I took off the intake piping, fan shroud, etc. turns out one of the bolts from the alternator worked it's way out and was about 1/4" away fromm the crank fan. would have been messy if I hadn't found it in time. Maybe that's it I don't know. It was kind of a pain getting that bolt back in and I didn't use a lock washer, so two weeks later I was in there again to do it right.

how do you change your belts anyway, i would love to see step by step instructions with pics. then again, i should look in service manual first and do some search before asking this question.

you're gonna wanna check your ac belt first.our old 240 ac compresors seem to seize up sometimes so if yours in in the process of seizing up you are gonna need to replace it if you want to keep your ac.
