I have a 09 Rogue S and I had aftermarket Raybestos rotors and pads replaced front and rear a year ago. For the last few weeks when I start the car and starting driving forward I hear a squeeling noise for the 1st 30 secs when not applying the breaks. I just swapped my summer for winter tires and I noticed that the front rotors do not spin freely but the back one's do. Does this mean the pads are rubbing against the rotor and I need to get a break service?

Your front wheels are your drive wheels and will not spin unless you put your transmission in neutral. So for the wheels not to spin is normal. Sometimes brakes are just noisy, however there is usually a little metal tab on the inside pad that starts to squeal when your pads wear almost to the rotor. I know you said you just replaced both a year ago but I would pull the front tires and take a good look anyway. Also less likely but still a possibility is you have a tiny stone or other foreign material caught between the rotor and one of the pads. Another thing to check is the thin metal dust shield that wraps around the rotor. They can get bent and make quite a racket. If that proves to be the case just bend it enough so it no longer touches the rotor.
