squeeky chair

I have a 06 M45 and i seem to have a squeeky chair.

At first i thought it was coming from the dashboard. toyed around with the stearing column etc. and then realized it seems to come from the chair.

I only get the noise when the car starts cold. Anyone have the same problem?

I know i am going to bring it to the dealer and they are going to say they hear nothing or can find nothing.

let me know if anyone has encounter the same.

If you are not having any other problems with the seat (movement in any direction, grinding noise during motor operation), you may be able to climb under the seat and with one hand on the metal bar supporting the head rest rock the seat in order to isolate the noises source. I use something like a long term WD40 to lubricate whatever two pieces of metal were rubbing.

What weight oil and fuel are you using.

My driver seat squeaks only at low speed. It doesn't squeak above 40mph. I cannot make it squeak by hand or by jumping in the seat. It looks like the stress in car's chassis at low speed it causing this. Will show it to the dealer on next oil change trip.
