Squealing Noise on my new 02 QX4

Ok, so here is the run down. I have a 2002 QX4, it has 106000 miles on it.I bought her with about 104000 and shes been driving perfect since and still is. Everytime I start the her up after about 24+ hours or so the engine squeals for a second or two then goes away, but that's not the only time I hear the noise. I also run into the noise when I floor the engine and it revs past 4000 RPMs. I am assuming its some kind of belt slipping, but I am not sure which. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like a loose drive belt.. You have 2 serpentine belts alternator and a/c belts. More likely its the alternator belt loose. Pretty easy adjustment. 14mm wrench for the pulley and 12mm socket to adjust. Do not overtighten.

Bump any other input or is that most likely the problem?

Dinghole is right, I suspect.
Mine is starting to squeak once in a while as well, but only on start up, and only for about 5 seconds.
On mine it's the A/C belt.

Had the same problem on my 02 Qx4, screeching belt on start up and the brow beating from neighbours!
Anyway what i did was buy new belts, a can of brake cleen for cleaning pulleys( a small brush to clean grooves is good at this time) and a couple of Buds.
I tightened as per manual specs but they still squealed. I then keep tightening both belts incrementaly until the screeching stopped and never had a problem since. Seems like the sensible thing to do. Oh yeah, spin all the pulleys and check for roughness, squeaks and anything unusual.
