hello all,

so iv noticed that every time i put my driver window up or down. it squeeks horribly. has onyone here ever had that isssue and what can i do to address it

I haven't heard of it either...try cleaning the windows with windex, but don't wipe it off, instead roll them up and down a few times. If that doesn't work, the dealer would be my next stop if still under warranty....or taking it apart if out of warranty.

I seem to remember seeing this problem in the Max/I30 forum.

The solution was to use lithium grease in the rubber tracts. I had an issue with my I30 where the passenger side window would not move easily and I found that they body shop who painted it, chopped off half of the weather stripping which made the window catch. Replacing the weather stripping made a huge difference as did greasing the track.
