Hello All,

Last fall, I had lightweight underdrive pully installed on my 90z32 tt, and it has been squeaking pretty bad. It doesnt do it all the time but when it does it is loud and obnoxious. Any idea's how to fix this problem.

Thanks,

if im not mistaken isnt the over drive pulley supposed to correct that??... check it out on Z1's website they explain it pretty well. From what i understand it is a good idea to both the Under and Overdrive pulleys at the same time

What is going on is most likely that the accessory belts have loosened and are now squealing when they are cold or under load. You need to tighten them to the correct tension.

I think what crazed32 is trying to say is that it is reccomended to run a overdrive waterpump pulley when you put on an underdrive crank pulley in order to keep the h20 pump running at correct speed.

+1 on the tension being too loose. Check them out and see which one feels loose, and tighten it up. Don't go too tight though, or you can break some expensive parts!
