Squeaky Master Cylinder

The master cylinder on my clutch is getting a little squeaky. At first I thought it was just the spring under the dash, but after lubing that I still heard a light squeak from under the hood. Is there anything I can lube the rod with that goes into the master cylinder in order to try and delay replacement until the spring? I've been watching the fluid level for a while and it hasn't moved. I also checked for leaks and don't see any...yet!

you sure the squeek is from outside and not the pedal? if its out side its most likely the pivot for the clutch fork inside the bell housing area.
