This may seem like a lame question but does anyone have a permanent solution for fixing a squeaky door? The hinge is inordinately loud right now(cold weather) and is mildly annoying when its warm.

This is an opening closing hinge noise not a rattle. Im sure I could put some graphite in but I would rather not have to do that even 1 time a year if there is a perm solution.

Thanks,-Slip

i tried it, but it didnt last long. the problem with it is that the door absorbs it and it doesnt stay on there. you need some good grease and it will stay good and slick for a long time.
