Hello all, I just installed a set of Tein Basic Coilovers in my s13 and I love the ride but after a day I noticed a squeaky sound whenever going over bumps. It is getting annoying because I don't hear it outside, but only in the cabin. Is anybody familiar with this? Did I screw the top of the towers (in the trunk) too tight, or are they not tight enough? Any feedback would be appreciated, and thank you, my fellow Nissan owners.

Are you using the factory rubber mounts or pillowballs? If you have factory rubber mounts and they're worn out, they will squeak.

Very common. I have high rate progressive springs and they do the same thing. It's the coils rubbing against themselves as the suspension moves. You can purchase coil silencers from many manufacturers.

Now, go install ployurethane or durometer bushings. That is a squeek that is hard to live with haha. I just turn the radio up more and I can't hear them, haha.
