How do I fix it?

Everytime I engage the clutch it squeaks

By the way I just installed a new clutch and this problem was happening even with the old clutch I know it's not the clutch itself...it's the clutch pedal

Mine does the same thing and its because you're missing a plastic bushing somewhere on the pedal assembly. Get under there and look where ever there is a hinge, pin, or bolt and see if its missing any.

If your clutch pedal doesn't squeak, you don't own a 240.

I remember approximately 10 years ago I had old friends that use to put wd-40 on every squeak they came across...From their skateboards to a lawnmower and it always worked...So yes it is worth a shot haha

white lithium grease will actually fix the squeak...and last. unlike wd-40 where you'll be spraying it every week.

Haha wow. Apparently squeaky peddles are common? Cool =] Yeah wd-40 only lasts a week or two. Put grease on every moving part of your clutch under the dash. That squeak gets on my nerves after a while but my gf said it sounds "cute". Haha

When my F250 truck is cold the clutch has the same problem. It drives me out of my mind. I used some chain wax made for bicycle and ATV chains and it works great.

I have the same exact problem. Doesn't bother me anymore, though.

Hey Fred,

I use stuff called Never-Seez for lubricating parts, especially bolts and spark plugs. It can be used for lubricating just about anything though. It won't exactly seep into parts like the thin WD-40 or PB Blaster would, but it lasts pretty much the life of whatever it is used on. The stuff isn't cheap but it is what mechanics use on Diesel Locomotive parts so you know it's tough!

Hahaha, I swear they say that just to watch us twitch. I got the exact same response and I instinctively said "It's not cute, it's fkin annoying..."

Hey whats up how have you been?

I will try that out I have seen it before in the store...Seems like grease or some other kind of lube thats not wd-40 works better and lasts longer according to the majority of people in here.

You going to be at the mid atlantic meet right?Hope to see you there man
