I've searched this entire site and couldn't find anything for a "squeaking" chassis. At low speeds especially when turning corners and driving up/down inclines and over speed bumps...my car make a very loud squeaking noise. The brakes aren't applied and there isn't any weight in the vehicle. I've pushed and tried to shake the car while it was parked, but I can't make it reproduce that sound. My car currently has 43K miles on it and it's been serviced regularly. It's due for an oil change, and I was gonna ask the tech to see if he could lube the chassis...is this even possible?

There is probably no "chasis lube" per se, but there are a lot of bushings all over the car... Have you been able to isolate the area of the noise?

Hey there and Welcome to NICO!

Heath is right there are no grease fittings in any of the suspension components. If I were you I would do my best to find out exactly what causes the noise try answering these questions

1- What speed does it happen?

2- Does it do it more if the body is torqued on one side(if you go over a speed bump with one wheel)?

3- Does it happen more when cold or hot?

4- Where is it coming from front, rear, left, or right?

5- Is there anything else you notice about it, frequency, pitch, or vibration felt?

These are a few simple questions that will assist the tech in finding exactly where it is coming from and what needs to be replaced. Noises like squeaks and rattles are typically hard to duplicate so I would ask to ride with the tech if you can duplicate the noise to save down time for your car.

As a side comment we had 3 - 2003 M45 in today one for a new fuel pump at 71k, another ragged out and pathetic at 120k with a plethora of owner induced things, and a nice decent one at 80k for an oil change.

MMMMMMM 43k and 6.5 years sounds like rubber bushings in suspension.

Sounds about right.

I had an 03 recently that blown the radiator and the overheating was neglected and then the motor and transmission seized. Just a waste of a car.
