Hello guys,
My brakes are beyond squeaky and very annoying. They are not just a little noise, they are very loud and tend to squeak almost every time I go to brake. I do have MGP Caliper Covers on and I am thinking that may be the problem. Has anyone else had this same problem and/or know how to fix it?

The caliper covers will cause more dust buildup in the caliper. This causes squeaking. Using non OEM pads especially cheap pads will most definitely cause squeaking. Glazed rotors could also be a cause. How many miles? Last time you had the brakes serviced did you have the rotors machined or just slap pads on it?

I have non OEM pads and forget what pads I replaced them with off the top of my head, but I will check tomorrow morning and post that information. I also have dimpled and slotted rotors so I do not think that is the problem. The pads have 2k miles on them and started to notice the squeaking after about 1k . Could be some glazing from "breaking-in" the new pads. Have you done a few 65mph to 30mph runs now that the pads have seated to clear off any glazing? I also hear that drilled/slotted rotors have a tendency to be noisy?, but that could also depend on the quality and material.
