Can anyone do a write up or could tell me how to change my belt? It's driving me insane. I'm trying to do as much as i can so the dealership doesn't get to rip me a new one. thanks guys

I think this has been talked about before.

If you can't find another thread on this, check out the FSM in the FAQ. Also, buy the belt from the Infiniti Parts counter and they'll print you out a diagram

all you need is a floor jack, 14mm socket, 12mm socket and a socket wrench.

The pulleys are held in place with the 14mm nut.

The adjustment bolt is a 12mm.

#1) Lift up the front end of the car (set E-brake).

#2)loosen (no need to remove) the 14mm nut on the pulley. (2 pulleys, 1 for each belt)

#3) Loosen the 12mm bolt that adjusts tension.

#4) Remove belts and replace with new.

#5) Reverse to tighten.

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. If you hear squealing from belts, belts are too loose still. Re-adjust.
