Ok, so theres a whole story behind how my car started to make noises and i need to rant about how Irvine PD is the biggest pieces of s hit ever. Last night, I went out for a drive and i came to a red light. i saw a WRX (with test pipes/race pipes i could smell that sucker even with my windows rolled up and it was loud) making a left onto the street i was on. but 2 cars behind him was a cop and another cop a couple more cars behind the first cop. The WRX probably didnt see the cops because he was kind of speeding and by the time the cops got directly behind him he slowed down and out of no where he busted a right turn into a small street. the cop right behind him missed the turn and the other cop was still 2 or 3 cars behind. so at the next stop light, the cop in the back pulls over a car for absolutely no reason. the cars around me were driving well under the speed limit because we see the 2 cop cars. in my mind i was thinking that the cops were pissed because they lost their target (the wrx). so as im driving past the signal, the cop in the front slows down almost to a complete stop in the middle of the street, changes lanes to let me pass, and then gets behind me. he starts tailgating me to the point where i cant see his headlights (thats how close he was following). so not wanting to get pulled over (i have illegal tint and no front plate) i turned left and the cop still followed me. 5~10 mins pass and hes still there, and im on the way back to my apt. the whole time my attention is on the rearview mirror to see how close he is and to see if his lights are going to start flashing. but as i pass a freeway, there was a huge 6~7 car accident. i dont know for sure how it started cuz i was focused on the mirror but there were 4 cars crashed on the opposite direction, 1 car crashed directly in front of me in my lane, and a couple cars off to the side. when i hear the tires screeching and the crashes i look and i had to slam my brakes and jerk my car to avoid the car in front of me. i ended up in the middle divider, after running over a bumper, broken glass and a lot of broken plastic. thank god i didnt hit any cars and wasnt part of that huge pile up. it happened so fast, and i didnt see where the ******* cop that was tailgating me went. my bumper got scuffed up on the passenger side, and i swear i think the bumper shifted to the right a little bit, because there is more room between the bumper and the headlight on the driver side than the passenger side. also a couple weeks ago, on my rear passanger side, my rims were attempted-jacked so there are 2 studs broken off ( i ordered the parts online but i havent gotten it yet). so examining the car in the morning, i hear squeaking sounds when i accelerate from a stop, and also when im driving 15~25 mph. i dont know about higher speeds because its hard to hear the sound from the inside and its hard to hear over the wind. so basically on take off it squeaks pretty loud and while crusing at low speeds i can hear it constantly. whats making this sound? later on tonight when my roommate gets home im going to have him stand outside to see where exactly the sound is coming from.

ok so im assuming no one wants to read a long post so i'll sum it up.

when i start up my car its fine, but as soon as i put it into anything other than park (i have 5AT) theres a constant squeaking sound as well as a hissing sound coming from the back side. also when i accelerate from a stop, i can hear a different kind of squeaking sound and i can hear it consistantly while i cruise at low speeds, but not as loud as take off. i dont know about higher speeds because its hard to hear over the wind noise. any help please?

I read it...wonder if they ever caught the WRX...

I'd say your squeaking is from the median thrashing. Take it to a shop to inspect your suspension.

There could be a lot wrong if you ended up on the median. You could be looking at suspension, transmission, drive shaft, exhaust, fuel and brake lines, or the differential...basically anything underneath the car that moves or does something if you have squeaking and hissing. We can't really see or hear your car so it's hard for us to know what's going on; to be able to narrow something down like that would require us inspecting your car. Sooo, take it to the shop.
