Sometimes when I crank the car and put it in first I hear a loud shrilling squeaking sound. Any ideas on what it is or could be? This did not start until we completed my frontend conversion this weekend.

I love threads about this noise!

Its definately one of your belts. Maybe there is a little oil on one of them or they are just are a little worn. Check them all out just in case.

Thought it might have been a belt but was not sure. Thanks for the help!
