So my good buddy has a 2005 with about 20k on it. He has had an issue when hes backing up the rear brakes squeak. He has taken it in several times but no luck, Infiniti is saying that this is the normal noises. He paid alot for this FX35, he bought it literally with every option they make and he's pissed. I told him to escalate this, but wanted to see if anybody else has this issue with an FX 35 or 45.

I guess this is sort of a dead area in NICO...

BadQ45t, your not alone. I came across your post . I own an 05 infiniti fx. Paid 20k in cash for this damn car and get the same problem. Only when in reverse, mainly when going in a downward angle in reverse it squeaks. I had taken it to a JustBrakes, thought it was my brakes but the were only 50% worn down. They said the same thing, it's just part of the car normally. This is bull****. That's not an answer. If this was normal, every car in the world would do this but they don't so it has to be fixable. I've been reading a few post online and some say they've taken it to a dealer and were told the same thing. I seriously hope not. This car was something I've saved up for for a long time. It's a bit embaressing. It's a hot looking car, then to see people look when I go in reverse. I also, have another problem, when I turn my steering wheel all the way as if I'm parking in a tight spot for example at a mall while driving slow trying to park, I hear a moan, not a squeak, hard to explain but in the front. Was he able to solve the problem? I will soon take it to a dealer. I hope this can be fixed.
