I recently aquired a 1989 coupe SE, when i got it, everything worked fine, now, about 3 days later, there is this really annoying/loud squeak that seems to be coming from the front driver's side. I had a buddy that has a 90 fastback tell me that it was the noise the powersteering makes when it's low. I filled it with the required type of p/s fluid, and it still makes the same noise. Apon closer inspection, it seems to be either coming from the lower ball joint or from the tie-rod end. I was just hoping somebody here could help me out.

Thanks

-----Something i forgot to mention, that makes this sound even more mysterious, it only makes that strange sound when i turn the steering wheel to the right. It has boggled my mind.

-----Finally figured it out. It was the lower ball joint, and damn nissan for not putting a grease fitting there! The problem happened to be the grease boot had cracked and I guess the grease leaked out. We just happened to have an old oral syringe lying around, so i loaded it up with some grease and proceeded to lubricating my ball joint. Needless to say, after a quick trip around the block--NO MORE SQUEAKING!!! w00t!

--Thanks for the support
