This has been bothering me for a while now.

When I open both my front doors, the front upper cornor (right above the hinges) rubs up against the weather stripping on the door frame near the windshield and makes a squeaking sound.

From what I've googled;

-spray on lubricants/waxes are only temporary

- 3M Polyurethane tape (the stuff used to protect helicopter blades) may be my best bet but expenisve.

- a thin stick-on felt works but is hard to find

Any tips or tricks I'm not aware of?

Mine does this too, I don't really care as it only squeaks for a bit. You can try spraying some 303 Aerospace Protectant (can be found at Ace Hardware) on the weather stripping. You can also try some silicone based dielectric grease. Read here for more suggestions.

Thanks, I'll look into that.
