Everytime I back out of my driveway I hear this strange squeaking borderline moaning noise coming for the rear wheel (driverside). I chaulked it up to brake pads worn? and also the front driver side tire squeaks when i'm coming to a stop and squeaks continously from a dead stop. I hate having my car sound like an old piece of junk. Could somebody give me some advice and what the problem(s) could be?

Do you mean that the actual tire squeaks, or that the squeaking sound comes from near the tire?

I"m pretty sure it's not the tire, it usual comes on when i hit the brakes. I'm almost certain it's the brake pads now that i've searched through all related threads. I just want to know if anybody else was having the same problem and it turned out to be something different.

i have this problem also, did you use that brake sound stopper stuff on the back of the pads before you installed? they supposedly help to deaden the queaky high pitched noises emitted by the pads.

another reason may be that your calipers are starting to stick from old age, how many miles are on the car? if you cant solve the problem, save up some money and get new calipers, reman calipers, or get a reseal kit and clean the piston wall in the caliper. I recommend getting new ones though, if you get it through Napa you get money back for the core. Lastly get a good quality pad. remember to spray that sound deadening stuff.
