I got my versa in dec 2006, silver, auto. I simply love it .styling is great, space is amazing! interior design and finish in basic model beats other cars in that level. i got one small thing tho' i noticed a week ago and it gets pretty irritating. when i go over a bump or hump or whatever you call it, or when car gets into "rocking motion" on uneven road, or when i press break pedal and release it quickly which causes it to tip/dip slightly to the front i hear sqeaking noise from the front of the vehicle that sounds somewhat like "weee wee" like i have a mouse there or something.it's not LOUD or anything it's just very annoying. i have still around 2000 more km to put on engine before i do my first recommended oil change so i'll obviously ask Nissan service to check it out for me, but just a thought...anyone else has the same problem? is it the springs or breaks? i'd think most likely springs when the noise happens even without me pressing break pedal ,right? any help would be appreciated. thnx

Any moving or squishing part up front could make that noise... so springs, struts, who knows...

I also had this, told the dealer yesterday when I got my oil changed, and so far has not made it again.

I just bought my Versa last weekend and I've noticed a similar noise. I've been able to narrow it down to the Moon Roof inside sliding cover and/or ceiling in general.

Basically, it seems like the sliding plate isn't set right and is just wobbling around in its track. If I push on it the noise stops.

Not sure what a dealer could do as it is more of a manufacturing defect and I would assume they would have to replace the the sliding cover with a slightly thicker one or something along those lines.

Good thing I got the upgraded stereo package with MP3 jack and Satellite Radio!
