Recently a strange noise coming from behind the steering while when car stops and go. I kind of tried diagnosing it myself and seems like it comes whenever pressure is applied to push steering (towards odometer). It is also coming when I am pushing the red area highlighted behind the steering wheel in the image. Have anyone else faced the same issue? Mine is only 31K miles (51K km) and there is no issue in terms of driving or turning steering wheel (even when parked).

Made the video so noise can be heard and seen how it is produced.

The only common attachment for those two points is the steering crossmember, so the noise has to be from something attached to that. The lower dash isn't difficult to pull and the '16 SM here in Nico should also apply to your '18 in case you haven't removed one before. I'd take it loose and see if you can pinpoint the noise source that way. A stethoscope applied to various places on the crossmember may help you narrow it down.
