Ok, at lower speeds the front diver's side brake squeaks. When I apply brakes, it stops. The squeak is not constant, but the intervals shorten as the wheel spins faster. I don't want to take it to a shop yet b/c Texas law states that if brakes need work, a shop cannot let your car leave nless they fix it!!! The squeak stops after about 35 mph or so (or at least it gets quiter). The pads are newer.

AHH! mine do the same frigging thing. squeaky, grindy brakes...and i don't know what i can do about it. yours might just be a glaze on the rotors. take some 150-200 grit sandpaper and give your rotors a good rub. i also hear that softer pads are less squealy...

Level is good. New master cylinder as well. On an old S10 pickup I had, the same thing happened and it was because the caliper needed to be rebuilt. You know, I think this may be Fate's way of saying "Rico, you need to do a 300ZX brake upgrade...";)

Thanks for the ideas guys. I will check it out this week!
