i noticed my breaks were squeaking at 5000 miles...not a drastic squeak but noticable.....now at around 10000 they were so loud, i new i had to get them replaced or something...so i went to goodyear and they checked them out and they told me i still had good pads on them but they noticed that the disc breaks are getting way hotter than usual and its making residue go on the pads and thats why it was squeaking. they sanded down the pads and it worked!

2 days later, that same noise came back! have u guys had any problems with the stock brake discs and pads??

p.s i dont have a heavy foot when i brake........

i dunno mine did the same a while ago, and tends to do it when i brake real slowly and like 5 mph or something, i just let it go i got them checked out and they were ok, and my brakes are still working, so i'm not to worried, could be sand or gravel or something.

I get a squeak at around 5mph as well, but only when it's raining.

Mine have been sqeeking after 3k miles. Idk if it's a recall problem but it's annoying.

Exactly! but mine do it whenever they get wet, but i'm not too worried about it, they work just fine, or else Nissan would've told me.

I have this same squeek as well. I've been to the dealership numerous times to have it checked out but could never get it to make the noise with the technician in the car. They said my pads(still have 75%+ life) and rotors were fine. I posted on another forum saying I thought I figured out the problem being a bent bracket that houses the brake pads but it wasn't the case.

I'm almost 100% positive it's coming from my right front alone. It only happens under low load bearing stops(i.e. normal stops)And it doesn't do it every time I stop as well.

I do know after I put on my new rims the noise is now more frequent. Out of 50 stops I'd say it would make a noise 40 times. VS maybe only 15 times on stock tires. And it looks like most of the people complaining about the noise as well have aftermarket rims/tires so maybe putting to much stress on brakes? If anyone figures out how to stop it please let us know. It's not causing any brake performance issues what so ever for me. Just annoying as hell.
