Squeaking Brakes HELP!

Has anyone had trouble with their brakes?

Recently, I've noticed a squeaking noise coming from the brakes every time I put a good amount of pressure on them. When I apply little pressure, it's fine.

I think maybe the brake pad is making contact with something?

What do you guys think?

how many miles on the V? any recent bad wet weather?

Try to spray the s**t out of it with a can of brake cleaner and see if that helps. If you have a small foreign particle on your pad it can cause very bad squeeking.

Hmm... about 10k.

It's been raining like crazy in California, but it has stopped in the past few days.

Do you think weather could be the cause of it?

for the last few weeks mine have been squeeking real bad, but i think its from the cinders on the road from all the snow.

btw the stock tire are pretty good in the snow.
