ive benn having a problem with my brakes squeakingthe car has roughly 27k miles on itand they have been squeaking for a long timei took it in to get them checked, and since then, the dealership changed the pads and turned the rotors, but the problem is still therethey keep telling me that this is common in infinitis becasue they use a softer brake pad and its the brake dust, which i find hard to believei hose the brakes down to clean the dust outbut that only fixesthe squeak for about a day

are any of you guys having the same problem, or encounted thatif so, what did you do to get taht taken care of

I have the same issue, although mine is a coupe. 21K miles. Not sure if that matters or not. It has been to the dealer 4 times. Turned rotors in the front, then they turned the rotors in the back, then they put new pads on the front, then the 4th time they gave up. All of this was under the warranty...it only cost me my time.

I needed new tires and had my tire guy look at them and he said that they look and feel fine....they just sqeakkkkkk!!! He recommended going to a akebono pad when these wear out. Most guys on here like the Hawk pads and /or Project MU NS pads.

Sorry not much help...but at least you are not alone.

I bought my 04 Coupe with 44K miles on her and the dealer had just put on new NISSAN pads at all 4 corners.Brakes produced pounds of dust and squealed like a pig!!!!!!

I replaced the fronts with Akebono pro-act pads and no more squealing pig!!!

I didn't turn them since they looked fine. I think they stop great. They were recommended to me by a Nissan parts manager who also works on some race cars. With that said, if I were going to track my car, I would probably bought something else. I only do some spirited driving. Carquest carries akebono
