when i am going around 45mph and up i can hear a squeaking noise that sounds like its comin from the front right wheel. the second i hit the brakes it suddenly goes away! i had the front brakes changed when my car was undriveable so i dont know if it made the noise before the break job. any ideas will be appreciated!!!

Some part of the caliper hitting the rotor at higher speeds? Or the dustshield got bent and is rubbing?

Bad wheel bearings? - iono bout this one, but worth a shot.

My car used to make a squeak at very low speeds, turns out the lug nuts were on no good or not to torque or something.

Why don't u jack the car up, take out the wheel, and see if everything is where it should be? The spin the hub/rotor and see if it grinds against anything at a low speed?

i was thinking it was a bad wheel bearing also. becuase if it were a brake issue it woul be more of a grinding type of noise. but this is a more squeaking noise. are the wheel bearings on a 240 the same to change as other cars?? in my school ive seen them do weel bearings on trucks and they just take the bearings right out then pack the new ones with grease and put them back in. is it basically the same procedure with the 240s?

new hub time... not kidding. nissan only sells them as a whole unit. which is around 95 bucks for SE w/o abs. I have to get a new one soon. mine's been bad for some time

My car makes the same clanking noise whenever I hit the slightest bump in the road. I have been told that it is the wheel bearings also.
