Recently I started getting a squeaky drivers seat when I make right hand turns.

Anybody else experience this? Know of a solution or reason?

I've got the same problem...haven't been able to fix it yet. Let me know what you come up with.

If your seat is not rocking or loose you may be able to spray a small amount of high quality penetrating oil. I usually use Wurth HHS2000 I am not hawking this product I just like it. You can use something else but this stuff lasts for a very long time and penetrates into moving metal parts. Over time it turns into grease and keeping noises at bay.

I will look for detailed pics (I know I took a few a while back) of where you need to lubricate but some of these are different. Your best bet is to shake the seat and track it down, sit in the seat and find out which position causes the noise and try to isolate it. That is how I would track one down. It's most likely going to be coming from the hinge between the seat bottom and back sections.

Man I wish we used Wurth products. The First VW dealer I worked at used it. And that lube is the $hit. I love how it turned into a grease after it gets worked a few times. You could spray it on your fingers and rub them and feel it change.

We just stopped using it, Ronnie (fbpem1) and I have a small stock pile that is closely guarded. That stuff is surprisingly expensive and that was the only brand we used when I was at Benz.

Back in New England I used a ton of PB blaster products, they are both great products. The PB Blaster made alignments possible in the great white north.
