When I turn the wheel, it squeaks. It sounds almost like a quick nail on the chalkboard (makes me grit my teeth sometimes) It doesn't happen all the time... I have tried to find a pattern and it seems like it does it more when it's cold out... but it's not exclusively when it's cold out. It pretty much does it only if I am pulling out of a parking space or doing a u-turn (so basically when I am turning the wheel to lock) and even then it's probably only 50% of the time.

So the question is this... does it need some kind of maintenance or repair? Is there something I can grease? Or something I need to replace? I don't want to go taking my steering wheel apart unless I have to... but I really don't want something in there to break- especially while I'm driving :ohno: This car may or may not see some street drifting this winter, and hopefully I will be able to get to a few events next summer so I really want everything working right.
