i asked about this before...when i turn my lights on or anything that pulls current there is a squelling sound...i was told its the alternator belt but why would it do this?

The bearings in the alternator could be going out. If there is a load put on it, the bearings could squeal.

i wouldn't rule the belt out either though.

i have the same problem i guess it doesnt effect your engine cause my Z32 specific maecanic says not to worry i just hate it cause all the females notice the loud squeak
