1997 Infiniti I3085k Miles

I got my brakes replaced a year or so ago. I took it back to the shop 4 times. They finally put the recommended infinity pads on. That go rid of the sqeaking for a bit (about 2 weeks). Now they don't sqeak as much (used to be horrible), but it makes some bad noises at slow speeds and feels like warped rotors at high speeds.

My breaks have been looked at a couple times during oil changes, and they are reported fine. 60% front.

My question is, who can I trust to do an awesome brake job, and what are some good brake pads I should request?

Thanks.

INIFINTI WILL BE YOUR BEST BET OR YOURSELF.

ALL THE OTHER BRAKE SHOPS ARE JUST OUT TO GET MONEY. SO THEY USE CHEAP MATERIALS AND SKIMP ON QUALITY LABOR PRACTICES.

ProjectRB speaks the truth.

Sounds to me you might have a few of the following from what you said.

The low speed squeal might be due to a glazed rotor surface.

The high speed vibration could be due to a few things. - Excessive rotor run-out (aka warped rotor) - Pad material build-up on the rotor (happens when you don't let off the brakes after a hard stop)

But given the choices I'd say you have glazed and warped rotors, and they require a resurface. This is more than likely due to an improper bedding procedure which the tech at Infiniti should know how to do, but he may not have the facility to do such a procedure correctly, ie. open road.
