I got megan street coilovers installed about few months ago, but recently weird sounds are coming from under from the suspensions. The suspension seems to make sound when i do 90 degree turns and when turning the steering wheel while the car isn't moving. The sound which it makes sounds like clunks, sounds like the springs are popping back up. I've checked and tighten everything, even the springs tighten up to the perch. So what else could be making the car sounds so annoying

The tie rod, which i assume is connecting to the boot, thats also blown too. For the control arm ball joint, it don't look like a major leak or anytihng but there are a little oil which might also be blown. One addition condition is that why does my driver side coilover look more slanted than the opposide side(slanted like 2 ol clock)?

you mean camber?

plz replace those busted bushings then check if sound is still here -- also re torque all suspension bolts

same replace ball joint -- I mean you are basically telling us that you are running coilovers on a completely busted front suspension and you are surprised you are getting all sorts of noises...

No i do not mean camber, car was on jackstands, the tires where off and the camber was set at zero....

Yeah your right about busted bushings might be causing all the sqeeeks but what about the clings and clunks that sounds from the springs? by the way, where could i get my hands on some of them ball joints?

Every suspension component on your car works in unison with each other.

240's are old and most of the bushings and suspension components are old and worn out to begin with. When you replace something such as coilovers you place more stress on the worn out pieces and in some cases make them behave worse the what you may have aurrally or physically been able to notice.

The same thing happen to me when I replaced my engine and transmission mounts about a year ago. After I replaced them it exuberated the sloppiness in my rearend due to worn out bushings. That led me to install subframe spacers.

Anyway, you get the point I hope. Bottom line, coilovers are teh sex but inorder to get the full potential out of them you need to start replacing the rest of your worn out suspension items.

Now go forward and spread this knowledge onto the land and drive fruitfully and drift like the wind.
