Was bored and browsing my sites to check for possible accessories yesterday. Looks like spyder has released black accent headlights for the coupe.
http://www.autoanything.com/lights/spyder-headlights
179.99, 25% off coupon brought them to 134.99...ordered a set yesterday. Supposed to ship between the 4th and the 8th. Autoanything is always quick, so hoping to have them the week of the 8th. Best case install the 13, worst case the 20th. Will post picks and let you know how they fit and how the quality seems. Lots of reviews on spyder lights over the years online, more good then bad, they seem to have a decent rep. So for 135 bucks, I'll try them out. I've had bar tabs way higher then that, so why not. Will update as soon as they are in.

Looks to be a poor quality product --- which the majority of aftermarket headlamps/taillamps tend to be. Luckily, you aren't paying much for the headlamps.

Awe man, not what I wanted to hear! I've got an Eagle brand aftermarket headlamp on my driver's side, and the sucker has a kinda dead spot. Even The rubber trim around it is crap. I was hoping the Spyder were of a better quality, as I could get a pair for the price of one OEM. Guess I'll have to find a local salvage yard.

I had spyder yellow foglights for 2 years+ and they ran strong. I just got bored and switched to OEM.

Arrived today, way ahead of schedule here they are out of the box. Quality looks pretty decent. If everything goes as planned they will be installed tomorrow. Will get pics up off them in the car and let you know about fitment as soon as possible.

Installed this morning. Fit perfect, seals seem good. I'm happy with them, now time will see how they hold up. Right now, def recommend. Sorry she needs a bath.

Looks good! :bigthumb: Thanks for taking the time to keep us updated, especially with pictures. :dblthumb:

If it's not too much to ask, can you give us an idea of their nighttime performance? As I mentioned, the cheap replacement in my DD has a dead spot, so I'm curious to see if there's any impact on light output.

Those look pretty sharp!

One thing I've noticed with aftermarket headlights is that you may need to add a little bead of silicone around the seam between the lens and the housing...

Wonder how they compare with these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-09-Altima-2D ... 1349718848

I really, really like the look of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/For-08-10-Nissa ... 1492994814

Everybody likes those ones. It sucks because quality of those headlights are so crappy. Chris had it on his coupe and his halos started falling apart.

Well, that's bogus. I'd be inclined to try them anyway, but I'm hard-headed (and I always mod new parts to make them better :) )

Sorry guys...will try to get pictures of light quality this weekend. The owner of the company I work for bought two more kenworth dealerships in Maine this month. Been so busy it's not funny! Lol
