SPY PICS OF THE NEW 2018 QX50

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

As expected, the new 2018 QX50 will most likely be following in the footsteps of the QX30 and QX60 with a FWD platform and transverse engine. Too bad as Infiniti is taking the path of most manufacturers in order to sell more cars while cheapening them at the same time. +1 At least we know our cars have proven reliability. Of course I'll still be crossing my fingers for my one month old QX50!

I would be more interested in the QX30 (or maybe even the Q30)
They do what so many mfgs are doing... make things bigger and bigger and then introduce something smaller to take their place. :)

ewww. mercedes based.

Never... I came to infiniti from german cars. I had it with their crappy reliability and retarded engineering.

I liked the ex35 because it's fast, reliable and RWD and offers pretty darn good features.... not sure if i'll be returning.

This. Infiniti litterally doesn't offer a single car I want to buy. Will either go ATS or Lexus for my next car. I will not buy a FWD based vehicle at this price point (unless it has RWD biased AWD like a Quattro)

You are not alone my friend. Infiniti is losing past customers by the droves. Their marketing leaves much to be desired as well as their product line. I would have purchased a Lexus but they are so damn ugly! I'm happy with my 2017 QX50 purchase last month and of course will have more than ample time to consider my next purchase. But most likely no Infiniti again.

I'm in the same boat. Love my 09 EX and was looking forward to the 2018. However, with all of the less than desirable changes, i'll either grab a 2017 QX50 or shop around for something else outside of the Infiniti lineup.

Purchased my 09 Infiniti EX35 new because it was RWD. I like the drivetrain and suspension layout. Still own the car, plan on keeping another 8 years or more.

Will not buy a FWD vehicle, sadly, this will be my last Infiniti.
