Has anyone ever heard of SPX Audio by chance?

I saw this ad for two 12" subs and a 1000W amp for $70... and I'm starting wondering if this brand is legit or not.

^^^I agree, and Audio is most definitely like everything else in life, you get what you pay for, and those are cheaper than the ones Wally World sells.

Folks who assume you get what you pay for are a marketeer's dream. You may or may not get what you pay for and price is but one variable in the equation. That's one of the benefits of online discussion groups like this. Motivated folks talking about their passion. And it's free. We get so much more than what we pay for. Thanks everyone.

I actually hooked up a friends system. He has 2 12" subs a custom box "that I built" and a 1,000 watt american Fx amp (special edition) and A 1500 watt compacitor. and The system rattles his car. not to mention it sounds great. I mean its not the best but its a good value buy although the watt was kinda expensive so i don't know how much effect thats causing to the SPX system

I just picked up one of the 800 w claiming deals today .. its 129 $ minus rebates .. so it was 30 off for black friday sales and another 30 $ rebate if i send it in ... Even if its junky its probly better than my stock single 10 " sub that rattles any time i try n bump a song ... If i can remember to n refind this thread , i will post my opinions on these spx sets ..
